- Full Spectrum or Isolate – Isolate is a generally good start since some people might be allergic to other substances
CBD by itself has been tested most extensively for anxiety than other cannabinoids. A large percentage of the population have histamine issues and may not tolerate additional substances in full spectrum. Focus on CBD isolate first as it's the cleanest and most researched for anxiety. THC may be counterproductive if legal in your State.
CBD for Pain

It's really a question of different uses.

CBD Vapes
We have a few options with the big brands screened for Vape oil or juice.
Here, the clear leader is BlueBird for two reasons.
- First, they have the best pricing.

CBD Edibles
The true way to measure the pricing of different CBD products is cost per mg (milligram) of CBD.
Otherwise, it's completely confusing!
They all have different levels of concentration but our dosages are all based on mg's. The research papers all list mg's.
That' what we want to price.
We'll focus on oils since that is the most popular way to take CBD.
Safety, 3rd party testing, quality of products are established for these brands (see CBD brand comparison here).
That leaves cost. Which is a big one!
Endoca and BlueBird are priced at #3 and 4 but at about double the cost.
Their products are full-spectrum it's good to test isolate first as an estimated 40-50% of the population has histamine issues and may react negatively to the flavonoids and other natural compounds in the plant.
The CBD oils are the most cost-effective way to take CBD followed by balms, vapes, edibles.
We discussed in the Best Value section above how we want the cost per milligram of CBD in a product.
All other ways of listing the info just serve to confuse people!
- Some have bigger bottles
- Some list ounces while others list milliliters (100ml is about 1 ounce).
- Some have more concentrated CBD per ml of oil.
The only way to boil away these differences is cost per ml.
